It has only been a couple of months since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed Baby Archie into the world, but the Duke of Sussex is already thinking about more kids. The new dad interviewed Dr. Jane Goodall for the September issue of British Vogue (which Markle guest edited), where he opened up about how many kids he wants to have. As it turns out, the red-headed royal is hoping to add one more child to his clan.
When the topic of children came up, Harry revealed he wants to have “two maximum.” The conversation then shifted gears to a discussion on what the Duke wants to leave for his child—and any future children he may have—as well as the future generation as a whole. One topic in particular involved climate change, and how we could set the world up for success. “I’ve always thought: this place is borrowed. And, surely, being as intelligent as we all are, or as evolved as we all are supposed to be, we should be able to leave something better behind for the next generation,” he says.

“Of course you’re interested now, you have a baby,” Dr. Goodall points out. “Of course,” Harry replies. “When you bring a child into the world, you have to worry about the future. If we don’t make change, we don’t have a future. It’s as simple as that.”
From his first official statement as a father , we already had a good feeling the Duke was bound to be an amazing dad, but his recent discussion in the Vogue issue further proves he’s effortlessly falling into his new role.
