What should I do if my baby can't drink calcium

Calcium is an essential substance in the growth of babies, playing a crucial role in their development journey. But as babies grow older, their sense of autonomy will also become stronger. Many babies are particularly dishonest when drinking calcium, which is very troublesome for parents. So what if the baby can't drink calcium?

What should I do if my baby can't drink calcium1

There are two main reasons why babies do not drink calcium properly. One is that babies are not patient enough, and the other is that the straw is too thin, making it difficult for babies to drink and unwilling to drink.

If parents are unwilling to drink due to the issue of the straw being too thin, they may try inserting the straw not too deep into the bottle, just a little bit, then using scissors to cut off the straw left outside, making an air inlet, and then cutting an arrow on the remaining straw. Insert the straw with this arrow into the air inlet for the baby to suck without difficulty.

If the baby lacks patience or really doesn't like drinking calcium through a straw, you can try switching to milk calcium for the baby to eat. Take one pill a day and squeeze it directly into the baby's mouth, which is convenient and effortless to eat. Baby growth and development require a large amount of calcium as a supplement, but parents should be careful not to randomly supplement their baby with glucose, walnut oil, fiber and other substances when supplementing calcium.
