  1. Baby diarrhea can be divided into two categories: non infectious factors and infectious factors. The common reason for non infectious factors is improper feeding, such as not following the principle of adding complementary foods from small to large and from thin to thick when feeding with too many types of complementary foods, which can lead to gastrointestinal intolerance and physiological diarrhea in babies.

  2. Another non infectious factor is that the baby has eaten too cold food or has not kept their abdomen warm, which can lead to gastrointestinal dysfunction and diarrhea. Other diseases besides the digestive tract, such as pneumonia, meningitis, or upper respiratory tract infections, can also cause symptoms of diarrhea in children.

  3. The most common infectious factors are bacterial infections in the digestive tract, which are often associated with unhygienic diet or children eating or biting toys, which can lead to the disease entering through the mouth. Especially in summer, bacteria are prone to breed, so diarrhea caused by bacterial infections is more common. Another infectious factor is viral infection, which often occurs in autumn and winter. The more common one is rotavirus infection, also known as childhood autumn diarrhea, which is a common cause of infectious childhood diarrhea.
