Baby's developmental standard at 2 years and 4 months old

Babies generally have different developmental indicators at different stages of growth, and the developmental indicators of male and female babies are also different. New mothers need to know the normal developmental indicators of their babies to determine whether their babies are normal. Today we will take a look at the developmental indicators of a baby at 2 years and 4 months old.

Baby's developmental standard at 2 years and 4 months old1

Generally, when a male baby is two years and four months old, their weight is between 9.86 and 15.24 kg. If the range of indicators and standard deviation of their own baby is relatively large, it may be closely related to the baby's physical fitness and nutritional supplementation. But as long as it is within this range, it is normal weight. When a baby is two years and four months old, their body length can reach 82.4 to 97.1 cm. If the baby develops very quickly, it can reach about one meter. Moreover, when the baby is two years and four months old, their head circumference can reach around 45.3 to 50.4 cm. Of course, there may also be babies who are not within this range, which may be related to their personal physique.

Compared to male babies, female babies may have lower standard values at this age. As long as the weight is between 9.48 and 14.60 kg, even if the standard body length is between 81.4 and 95.9 cm, it is normal. In terms of head circumference, female babies generally have a smaller head circumference than male babies, between 44.3 and 49.3 cm, which is considered normal.

If mothers find that their babies are not within this standard value, they may need to pay attention to the subsequent nutritional supplementation for their babies. If the standard value is exceeded too much, it may be due to mothers supplementing their babies with too much nutrition, causing the baby to have overnutrition. Mothers need to reduce the amount of nutrition they supplement their babies. Of course, when reducing, they must not reduce it all at once, but gradually reduce it in moderation.
