You can feel fetal movement within a few weeks

The fetus is able to move when it reaches a certain stage of development. Fetal movement refers to the movement of the fetus in the uterus that is transmitted through amniotic fluid and uterine wall, allowing us to feel it outside the body. In early pregnancy, the fetus can be seen moving in the uterus through ultrasound. But sometimes you can't feel fetal movement. How many weeks can I feel fetal movement?

It can be felt that fetal movement is related to each person's sensitivity. When fetal movement is not obvious, pregnant women may not be able to feel or distinguish fetal movement. It can only be detected when fetal movement becomes more and more apparent. Generally speaking, around four to five months, pregnant women can clearly feel fetal movement. The developmental rhythm of the fetus varies, and pregnant women perceive fetal activity at different times. Of course, some expectant mothers have a higher sensitivity and can feel fetal movement around 16 weeks. Normally, noticeable fetal movement can be felt at 20 weeks, and some may even be delayed, which is normal.

If the ultrasound examination results are normal but there is no sensation of fetal movement for a long time, there is no need to worry too much. It is very likely that the fetal development is still small, the movement amplitude is not large, the strength is small, and the fetal movement cannot be well transmitted from the amniotic fluid and uterine wall to the abdominal wall. As long as it is checked on time and all indicators are correct, fetal heart rate can be detected. So around five months, you will be able to feel fetal movement.
