Why does ovulation pain occur1

Under normal ovulation cycle, women will normally release one to two eggs on ovulation day in preparation for conception. However, some women may experience mild abdominal pain or vaginal bleeding during ovulation due to ruptured follicles. These are normal physiological phenomena of women during ovulation, so there is no need to be overly nervous. It usually lasts for one to two days and gradually disappears.

Firstly, the pain during ovulation in women is relatively mild. For women with these symptoms, they will experience this kind of labor pains during ovulation on the ovulation day of each month. The labor pains are relatively mild, usually alternating between the ovaries on both sides, meaning that the pain in the left and right abdomen will not occur simultaneously, but will alternate left and right.

Secondly, the duration of ovulatory labor pains is relatively short, which may last for half a day, a day, or at most no more than two days. If there are multiple days of labor pains, it should be caused by gynecological inflammation and should be treated promptly.

Finally, the amount of bleeding caused by ovulation pains is very small, and the pain that occurs on ovulation day can produce a small amount of stimulating bleeding, which is usually negligible.
