Late pregnancy refers to the period from 28 weeks to the end of delivery (up to 40 weeks), including August, September, and October. After 30-32 weeks, the intensity of fetal movement will gradually decrease. Vomiting in late pregnancy may be related to uterine enlargement and gastric compression, as well as acute gastritis caused by eating unclean food or catching a cold. Eating small meals and engaging in moderate activity can alleviate symptoms.

As the gestational age increases, the fetus gradually enters the pelvic cavity and symptoms gradually improve. If acute gastritis is caused by dietary factors, those with mild symptoms can temporarily fast to reduce the burden on the stomach. After the symptoms improve, you can eat light and easily digestible liquid foods instead of spicy and stimulating foods to alleviate pregnancy and vomiting reactions.

If pregnant women vomit severely, they should eat more alkaline foods to avoid acidosis and affect fetal development. If pregnancy and vomiting make you feel uncomfortable, you can go to the hospital for a check-up. If the symptoms are severe, it is recommended to seek treatment at the local hospital's gastroenterology department and remember not to take medication on your own.
