Due to the unique physical condition of female friends, a slight lack of attention to maintenance can lead to various gynecological diseases. The ampulla of the fallopian tube is a unique part of the female body, and many female friends are very familiar with the protection of the ampulla by the fallopian tube and are curious about it. So where is the ampulla of the fallopian tube located?
The ampulla of the fallopian tube is mainly located on both sides of the uterus, in the upper part of the broad ligament. Female friends in the reproductive age stage have a total length of about 8-15cm in the ampulla of the fallopian tube. The outer end is relatively close to the ovary, forming a large funnel-shaped structure with approximately 25 irregular finger like protrusions radiating outwards, known as the umbrella end, opening towards the pelvic cavity.
Nowadays, the common disease in this area is blockage of the ampulla of the fallopian tubes, and the treatment method depends on the location and severity of the blockage.
1. Tubal obstruction but not smooth: This condition is relatively mild, and one only needs to go to a regular hospital to have their fallopian tubes removed to conceive normally.
2. Complete blockage of fallopian tubes: This condition is more severe and the chances of cure cannot be fully guaranteed. If a woman in this condition wants to conceive normally, both fallopian tubes must be unblocked.
3. Blocked but blocked fallopian tubes: This condition is relatively mild and can indicate that most fallopian tubes are functioning normally. Female friends with this condition have a higher chance of pregnancy after unblocking the fallopian tubes.
