If a couple who wants to conceive a baby cannot conceive after a long period of preparation, they need to investigate the causes of infertility. Male low sperm count or non liquefaction of sperm are common causes of infertility. However, what should be done if a male's sperm is normal and not pregnant?
Method 1: The female party should also undergo necessary examinations. Because there are many causes of infertility, male infertility is mainly related to reproductive organ abnormalities, sperm abnormalities, and other factors. If the male cause is ruled out through examination, necessary reproductive system examinations should also be performed on the female party.
For example, it is necessary to check whether there are abnormalities in the female reproductive organs, whether endocrine function is normal, whether the ovaries can discharge mature follicles, whether there are adhesions, blockages, and poor patency in the fallopian tubes, and so on. These are important causes of female infertility, so targeted examinations should be conducted to exclude them.
Method 2: Assisted artificial reproduction for conception. If it is determined through examination that a woman has a reason for not being able to conceive naturally and treatment cannot achieve good results, assisted reproductive technology such as in vitro fertilization can be considered. This is also an option for many infertile families to conceive and have a baby.
However, there are also adaptation conditions required for in vitro fertilization, so both spouses need to undergo targeted examinations. Only after confirming that the conditions for in vitro fertilization are met can we gradually proceed with implementation. This stage requires a relatively long process with a certain failure rate, and may require multiple attempts to succeed. Both spouses need to have good psychological resilience and economic foundation for this.
