What should I do if I have an ectopic pregnancy

Nowadays, the incidence of ectopic pregnancy is increasing. The reason why women experience ectopic pregnancy is mostly because they do not take care of themselves and undergo multiple abortions, which affects the health of the endometrium and leads to the inability of the fertilized egg to implant normally. So, what should women do if they have ectopic pregnancy?

Female ectopic pregnancy is not serious and can be treated conservatively with medication. This treatment method is suitable for people whose fallopian tubes have not ruptured and whose fallopian tube pregnancy embryo diameter is less than 3 centimeters without obvious internal bleeding. This treatment method causes minimal harm to patients, but it can easily cause the killed embryos to polarize in situ, resulting in blocked fallopian tubes and affecting their fertility. So women who have fertility requirements should not try this method.

If women do not undergo conservative treatment with medication, they can opt for tubal fenestration and suturing surgery. When the fallopian tube has not yet ruptured or the tear is relatively small, hysteroscopic surgery is performed, which requires cutting open the patient's fallopian tube to remove the embryo, and then suturing to ensure normal fallopian tube function. This type of surgery can reduce surgical risks, enable patients to recover quickly, and lower the likelihood of disease recurrence.

If neither of these methods is suitable for the patient, then the patient can only undergo salpingectomy surgery. Tubal resection surgery is generally aimed at individuals with severe and difficult to repair fallopian tube rupture. However, patients do not need to worry. This surgery only removes one side of the patient's fallopian tube, while the other side can still be used normally, but the patient's chances of getting pregnant are significantly reduced.
