Adhesion is an abnormal phenomenon that occurs inside the uterus in many women, mostly due to different types of gynecological inflammation or different types of surgeries causing varying degrees of adhesion inside the uterus. This phenomenon needs to be detected and treated in a timely manner to avoid greater impact. So, what are the symptoms of cervical and uterine adhesions?
1. Menstrual abnormalities. Menstruation is a regular physiological phenomenon inside the female uterus. When the cervix and uterine cavity inside the uterus become adhered, it can cause the endometrium to fall off and be unable to be discharged smoothly, which can easily lead to abnormal menstruation. Some cases may have insufficient menstrual flow, while others may experience menstrual cessation.
2. Abdominal pain. Because the cervix is an important component of the female uterus, adhesion to the uterine cavity can cause varying degrees of structural changes within the uterus, which can easily lead to abdominal pain. In severe cases, symptoms such as restlessness or difficulty moving may occur, all of which require a detailed examination of the internal conditions of the uterus.
3. Infertility. Pregnancy is a process in which the sperm and egg combine and implant smoothly inside the uterus. However, if there is adhesion between the cervix and the uterine cavity inside the uterus, the fertilized egg cannot implant inside the uterus, resulting in infertility. Therefore, if there is a phenomenon of non pregnancy, a detailed examination of the uterine cavity is also necessary.
