Manifestations of cervical hypoplasia

The most important reproductive organ for women to conceive a baby is the uterus. If the uterus is not fully developed, it may even lead to infertility in women. In order to detect uterine health issues in a timely manner, let's learn about the manifestations of cervical infertility together.

Manifestations of cervical hypoplasia1

  1. Cervical hypoplasia: Severe cervical hypoplasia can cause the cervix to develop into a slender shape, while moderate cervical hypoplasia can result in a 1:1 ratio of cervix to uterine body length, belonging to the type of youthful uterus, and can also lead to significant deficiencies in the secretion function of cervical glands in female patients.

  2. Congenital cervical abnormalities: Congenital cervical atresia and stenosis in women are also considered as cervical hypoplasia, which is very rare in clinical practice. If the endometrial function is good, during puberty, abdominal pain or menstrual cramps may occur due to uterine bleeding.

  3. Abnormal cervical position: When women suffer from gynecological diseases such as pelvic inflammatory disease or endometriosis, it can cause the uterus to tilt backward or bend forward, which naturally leads to the external opening of the cervix sticking to the anterior fornix, making it difficult for women to conceive smoothly. Therefore, when women are found to have cervical hypoplasia, they must actively go to the hospital and take corresponding measures for relief and treatment, otherwise it will affect women's fertility.
