Is an increase in HCG good

HCG is a tool for checking body hormones, and by examining HCG values, pregnancy can be clearly determined. If the pregnant woman has an ectopic pregnancy, the HCG value will be lower than that of a normal pregnancy. So, is an increase in HCG good enough?

If HCG rises, it may not necessarily be good, but if it doesn't rise, it proves to be bad. If the HCG level is too low, pregnant women are prone to threatened miscarriage and need to constantly monitor their physical condition. After pregnancy, the HCG value of pregnant women will double, doubling every 2 to 3 days, which can be compared with the previous value. As long as the HCG doubles normally, it can indicate that embryonic development is normal.

The main function of HCG is to stimulate the corpus luteum, promote the continuous secretion of progesterone and estrogen, and help the placenta grow and mature. If the increase in HCG is relatively small, it may be due to the fact that HCG has not doubled or the fetus has experienced fetal arrest. Regular monitoring of changes in HCG values is necessary. Pregnant women also need to undergo color ultrasound examination to observe whether the gestational sac has any cardiac tube or fetal bud fluctuations, in order to determine whether the fetus has stopped.

If a pregnant woman's progesterone is too low, she must go to the hospital for prenatal treatment in a timely manner, rest in bed, and not engage in strenuous exercise. Pregnant women should focus on a light and easily digestible diet, maintain a balanced diet, and supplement the body with the necessary nutrients.
