We all know that after a female friend successfully becomes pregnant, a small gestational sac will appear in the uterus, which cannot be observed even under ultrasound examination at the beginning. The size and shape of the gestational sac determine the development of the embryo. As pregnancy progresses, the gestational sac will gradually grow before it can be seen through ultrasound. Therefore, the development of the gestational sac is very important, and there are usually the following reasons for irregular gestational sac:
1. The calculation of pregnancy days is incorrect: the gestational sac is too small, which may be due to delayed menstruation of the expectant mother, miscalculation of the time after ovulation, and late pregnancy. The actual number of menopausal days is very small, so this situation can be re evaluated in the next 1-2 weeks;
2. The development and quality of the embryo itself are related to the genetic inheritance of both parents.
3. Environmental pollution: Pregnant women with low progesterone function, infections from certain diseases, and certain immune factors can cause irregular gestational sacs. Infections caused by mycoplasma, chlamydia, rubella virus, and other factors during pregnancy can lead to abnormal development of the gestational sac.
Most gestational sacs smaller than normal months are unhealthy. Usually, early fetal development is irregular. If the fetus is too small, the gestational sac examined by ultrasound is irregular, which may be due to insufficient weeks and inability to grow normally. If there is no fetal bud or fetal heart after 8 weeks, and ultrasound shows irregular shape of the gestational sac, it means that the embryo has not continued to develop and may ultimately lead to miscarriage.
