For women who are not yet prepared, unintended pregnancy is a very frustrating thing. Sometimes, some women may feel particularly nervous when they notice abnormal physical symptoms, fearing that they will become pregnant, which can cause a lot of mental pressure and affect their normal life. So, how do you know if you're pregnant or not?
1. Menstrual delay
Within a short period of time after pregnancy, women's bodies generally do not undergo particularly noticeable changes, so it is difficult to immediately determine whether or not they are pregnant. But women can often make preliminary speculations about whether their menstrual cycle is delayed. If menstruation has been relatively regular and suddenly delayed for more than a week, there is a high possibility of pregnancy. If the menstrual cycle is not regular, the prediction may not be very accurate.
2. Early pregnancy test
There are many simple pregnancy testing products on the market now, such as early pregnancy test strips and pregnancy test sticks. If a woman finds that her menstrual cycle has been delayed for more than 3 days, she can use early pregnancy test strips for testing, or do an early pregnancy test 15 days after sexual intercourse, which can generally obtain more accurate results. But to truly confirm pregnancy, it is still necessary to go to the hospital for B-ultrasound diagnosis after 45 days of pregnancy.
3. Physical reactions
After a woman becomes pregnant, changes in hormone levels can stimulate many bodily reactions, such as increased sleepiness, fatigue, increased frequency of using the restroom, and changes in taste. Women's breasts may enlarge, areolas deepen, and there may also be symptoms such as nausea and vomiting.
