Some women are busy with work in the early stages and have never had a baby. They only consider having a baby recently and arrange sexual intercourse during ovulation. So, how long does it take for eggs to mature after a woman's menstrual cycle?
After a woman's menstrual cycle is complete, it usually takes fourteen days for the eggs to mature. The maturation of egg cells in general women is matched with the progression of the menstrual cycle. A woman's ovaries usually mature only one egg per month, which is also known as the ovulation period. Ovulation period usually occurs between two menstrual periods, usually 10 to 14 days after a woman's menstrual cycle is complete.
Mature eggs typically exceed a size of 20 millimeters, at least 18 millimeters. According to the maturation process of eggs, they can generally be divided into eight levels, but since the first five levels are relatively small eggs, they are generally not worth discussing. At the sixth level, the size of the egg is 5 millimeters. At the seventh level, the egg will grow to 10 millimeters and mature after passing through the eighth level.
Although healthy women have two ovaries, only one mature egg is actually produced each month. This may be due to the fact that the ovaries do not work simultaneously. Usually, the two ovaries work in rotation, so some women who can feel ovulation pain may only experience pain on one side each time. This is actually normal, and women should not worry too much.
