The causes of gynecological diseases are mostly related to age, fertility, sexual hygiene, endocrine disorders, and unhealthy lifestyles. Tubal cancer is a common gynecological cancer. Tubal cancer often occurs in women who are infertile or suffer from chronic appendicitis or tubal tuberculosis, and is more common around the age of 50. The early symptoms are as follows:
1. Vaginal discharge and vaginal bleeding: These are the most common and characteristic symptoms of primary fallopian tube cancer, affecting approximately 2/3 of cases. The discharge can be light yellow or serum like, and if there is a small amount of blood, it can be light pink. When accompanied by infection, it can become turbid and have a foul odor. When there is excessive bleeding, it can present as a blood sample.
2. Abdominal pain: About half of patients will experience lower abdominal pain, which often occurs on the affected side. It starts with dull pain or heaviness, and later worsens and develops into spasmodic colic. The pain is relieved after the discharge of water or blood like fluid from the vagina. When there is poor drainage or bleeding, persistent dull pain may occur, often accompanied by low-grade fever.
3. Pelvic mass: Cancer growth can cause dilation of the fallopian tube lumen and form a mass. Often in the shape of sausage, cystic or solid. Only some patients are able to touch the mass in the lower abdomen on their own, and those who complain of abdominal mass are even more rare.
4. Other symptoms: When the tumor progresses to the late stage, there may be symptoms of ascites and compression and invasion of adjacent organs.
Early detection of fallopian tube cancer is of great significance for treatment. Early signals of fallopian tube cancer include vaginal discharge, abdominal pain, pelvic mass, vaginal bleeding, infertility, ascites, and cachexia. The diagnostic criteria for fallopian tube cancer are that the tumor mainly invades the surface of the fallopian tube, and the lymphatic vessels in the mesentery, muscular layer, and interstitium of the fallopian tube are often affected.
Like other tumors, fallopian tube cancer can metastasize, which requires female friends to prevent fallopian tube cancer as much as possible and undergo regular check ups every year. After the occurrence of fallopian tube cancer, timely detection and treatment are necessary to prevent metastasis and harm women's life and health.
