Generally speaking, mild cervical erosion does not affect having children. If cervical erosion is severe, with contact bleeding or yellowing of vaginal discharge, active treatment is needed, which may affect pregnancy.

Cervical erosion is generally asymptomatic, and it is a physiological phenomenon of the outward migration of cervical columnar epithelium, which is also influenced by estrogen and results in varying degrees of columnar epithelial eversion. Cervical erosion generally does not cause significant harm to women. If there is an increase in vaginal discharge, yellowing of vaginal discharge, or abnormal odor, this condition is a manifestation of cervicitis.

For cervical erosion, treatment is not necessary. If it develops into cervicitis, active treatment is needed. In daily life, female friends should undergo regular cervical examinations to prevent cervical erosion and cervical cancer. If there is an increase in vaginal discharge or yellowing of the discharge, routine examination of the discharge should be performed, and if any problems arise, active treatment should be sought.
