Early pregnancy symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and drowsiness may occur during the early stages of pregnancy. These early pregnancy symptoms will not affect normal pregnancy and will gradually subside after 3 months of pregnancy. Some pregnant women may experience abdominal pain, but this does not necessarily mean they will have an abortion.

In the early stages of pregnancy, there may be physiological abdominal pain, and some pregnant women may feel stomach pain, as well as early pregnancy reactions such as nausea and vomiting. This situation is mainly caused by excessive gastric acid secretion in early pregnancy.

If lower abdominal pain occurs in early pregnancy, it may be a complication of pregnancy, such as threatened miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy. For example, in early pregnancy, if there are paroxysmal abdominal pain accompanied by lower back pain, pelvic pain, and spotting in the vagina, it indicates threatened miscarriage. If a pregnant woman experiences severe pain in one side of the lower abdomen, accompanied by vaginal bleeding and even fainting, it may be an ectopic pregnancy.
