33 weeks of abdominal pain

Pregnant women need to pay close attention to everything during pregnancy, because each stage of pregnancy will have different physical reactions, especially in the stomach. After all, there is a fetus present here. Some pregnant women will have obvious abdominal pain when they reach their thirties, especially around thirty-three days. So why is abdominal pain at thirty-three weeks?

33 weeks of abdominal pain1

  1. Physiological abdominal pain

As the baby grows up, the uterus of the expectant mother will gradually expand. At this time, the expanded uterus will constantly stimulate the lower edge of the ribs, so pregnant women will feel obvious dull pain in the ribs. Usually, this is physiological and does not require treatment. It can be relieved by changing posture. The left lateral position is very conducive to relieving pain. In the late stage of pregnancy, expectant mothers often experience lower abdominal pain due to false contractions during night rest, but this phenomenon is not serious, usually lasting only a few seconds, and then spaced for several hours.

  2. Placental abruption

This is a pathological abdominal pain reaction, and 33 weeks is a cycle. Although placental abruption only occurs in the late stages of pregnancy, and the probability of occurrence is extremely low, only about 0.5% to 1%, for pregnant women with hypertension and smoking and drinking, the pain of placental abruption at 3 to 13 weeks is actually normal. When the condition occurs, there will be obvious lower abdominal tearing pain, and sometimes there will be vaginal bleeding.
